Where to walk your dog in North London

North London comes with a variety of different parks that you can walk your dog in, all with their own unique attractions. Whether you’re looking for a woodland walk to take your dog on an adventure, a country like walk in the heart of the city, or a mixture of both, we’re sure you’ll find the park to suit your needs when you walk your dog in North London.

1 - Finsbury Park (N4)

Finsbury Park is a dog-friendly park where you can take your pet to play catch in the large fields, and interact with other dogs and dog owners. It has a lovely little park café, with an outdoor seating area where your dog can watch you enjoy (or beg for) your food.

2 - Parkland Walk (N4 - N10)

The Parkland Walk is not technically a park, but it’s one of the best places to enjoy a dog walk. It stretches all the way from Finsbury Park to Highgate Woods, offering a long walk across North London with beautiful greenery.

3 - Highgate Woods (N10)

Highgate Woods brings you woodland to the heart of North London, offering your dog an escape from city scenery. Filled with trees, logs, and interesting scents, your dogs are certain to be tired out after a day out. There’s even a dog café where you can relax with your pooch is the day lasts a little too long!

4 - Clissold park (N11)

Clissold Park comes with a café, lakes and a small farm containing goats and deer, alongside other animals. It is super popular amongst dog walkers and gives your dog large fields where they’re able to run around.

5 - Hampstead Heath (NW3)

Hampstead Heath has pretty much everything you could look for in a park - hills, open fields and long stretches of woodland. It almost mimics the British countryside, right in the middle of London.

6 - Stationers Park

A small park located near Crouch End with a small outdoor cafe and dog friendly areas for pet owners too enjoy. The park is split into a dog-friendly area and a children’s area where dogs aren’t allowed.

7 - Alexander Palace Park

This is a 196 acre park offering an idyllic city escape for anyone visiting. It is very dog friendly, with fields and woodlands to satisfy even the most adventurous pup.

So if you’re looking to give your dog a exciting day out, pick from one of our listed park and we’re sure you won’t go wrong!
